There are many courses which you can opt for after completing your 2nd year Pre- University Course.Usually the eligibility criteria(educational qualification) for entering into the software sector is B.Tech in any discipline
(or) Graduates who have completed either MCA or M.Sc(Computer Science). But graduates from all the above mentioned streams should be consistent It would be better if you take up B.tech in CSE stream or IT stream to be a good software engineer since CSE and IT stream has almost all the software subjects covered compared to other Engineering streams. But you can only take up B.Tech if your from PCM Stream. If your from commerce or any other stream in your PUC then you can take up either B.Sc(Computer Science) or BCA and later go for M.Sc(Computer Science) or MCA.Try to maintain the consistency so that you get selected in a good software stream. The aggregate mentioned by the companies may increase gradually hence try to maintain an aggregate above 70 mark. |
