IPS exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) once in a year.


Eligibility criteria:-

The candidate should be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university.

There is no percentage restrictions to appear this exam.

The candidate must be a citizen of india.


Age criteria:-

The age limits are 21 to 30 years,

3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates,

5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.


Selection procedure:-

-->Civil services Preliminary examination,

-->Civil services Mains examination,

-->Personal interview.

UPSC conducts IPS examination every year.

IPS examination is conducted by three processes are mentioned as below:-

* Prelminary examination.

* Mains examination.

* Personal interview.

The eligibility criteria required for IPS examinaation are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation in any discipline from any recgnised college or university.

* Age limit- 21-30 yrs.

* Age relaxation- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST contendors.

* Nationality- Indian.
