what is the syllabus of IAS & IPS?...please tell me how much is it

IAS and IPS both are best career option but it is not easy crack. You have to work very hard for it. Without proper preparation you can't crack the examination. Planning is very important and every minute is useful. You have a keep upon update yourself reading news paper, watching current affairs State, National and International. Praticipate mock test is very important to know your know and where your standing knowledge wise. If it is necessary go for coaching Institution. It is also one of the best option to prepare for IAS and IPS Examination.

To join IAS and IPS you need to crack the Civil Service Examination and this examination is conducted by UPSC Once in a year. To apply for Civil Service Exam, you must have finished your degree course. Your age should between 21-30 years and upper age limits is applicable for this examination.

CSAT Exam Pattern :-

Paper - I : 200 Marks- 2 Hours

-> History of India and Indian National Movement
-> Indian and World Geography - Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the world
-> Indian Polity and Governance - Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues
-> Economic and Social Development - Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives
-> General Issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change
-> General Science

Paper II: 200 marks - 2 Hours

-> Comprehension
-> Interpersonal skills including communication skills
-> Logical reasoning and analytical ability
-> Decision-making and problem solving
-> General mental ability
-> Basic numeracy (Class X level)
-> English language comprehension (Class X level)
