IPS stands for Indian Police service.

Those candidate have completed graduation degree from recognized university are eligible for IPS exam.Final year student are applicable for IPS Exam.

Age criteria for IPS exam for general candidate is 21 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is there as per govt rule .

Age relaxation for IPS exam:-

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates
10 years relaxation for PHC candidates
5 years relaxation for Ex-serviceman

The maximum no of attempts for Sc/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

Selection process of this exam are - Preliminary exam ,Mains exam and Personal Interview

IPS stands for the Indian Police Service. this exam is conducted for those candidate who are aspiring to become an IPS Officer and want to serve the Nation. exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission under the Civil Service Examination......


For applying this exam a candidate must be a graduate in any stream from Recognized Universities...

Age of candidate should be between 21 to 30 years...

Relaxation for OBC category as per government rule is applicable up to 3 years on upper age. For SC/ST it is up to 5 years on upper age applicable.....

General Attempt Limit is for 4 times but, for OBC it is up to 7 times and for SC/ST No attempt limit......

Hai,

IPS(Indian Police Service).

IPS exam conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) once in a year.


Eligibility criteria:-

The candidate should have to complete graduation from a recognised university.

Percentage is not required to apply this examination.

You must be a citizen of India.

Final year graduation persuing candidates are also eligible.


Age criteria:-

The age limits are 21 years to 30 years,

3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates,

5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.


Selection process:-

Preliminary exam,

Mains exam,

Personal interview.


No. Of attempts:-

4 times chance for General candidates,

7 times chance for OBC candidates,

No limit for SC/ST candidates.
