What work should i.a.s officer do ? How many exams should be given to become a i.a.s officer and which exam ? After passing this exams are there some tranings ?

IAS - Indian Administrative Service, to become an IAS officer one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year.
An IAS officer is a most responsible person on behalf of the Central Government. He is in charge of various administrative work of the Central Govt. which is implemented through IAS officer. The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service. This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year. Eligibility: The candidate should be citizen of India. The candidate should complete the Graduation from any recognized University. No percentage required for this exam Final year pursuing candidates are eligible for this exam. The candidate age limit should be between 21 to 30 years. hai,
IAS(Indian Administrative Service) exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) only one time in a year. Eligibility criteria:- You should be complete graduation or an bachelor's degree from a recognised university. The candidate must be a citizen of india. Final year persuing candidates can also be eligible for this exam. There is no required percentage to appear this exam. Age criteria:- For General candidates--> 21 years to 30years, For OBC candidates--> 21 years to 33years, For SC/ST candidates--> 21 years to 35 years. For PH OBC candidates--> 21 years to 40years. Number of Attempts:- *4 times for general candidates, *7 times OBC candidates, *No limit for SC/ST candidates. Selection steps:- ***Civil services main exam, ***Civil services preliminary exam, ***Personal interview. all the best................. |

The acronym for IAS is Indian Administrative Services. IAS examination is a civil services examination, which is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) every year. The eligibility criteria required for the IAS examination are prescribed as below:- * Completion of graduation in any stream from any recognized college or university. * Final year contenders are also eligible. * Age limit:- 21-30 yrs. * Age relaxation:- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST contenders. * No. of attempts:- 4 for General, 7 for OBC and no limits for SC/ST contenders. * Nationality:- Indian. The selection procedure for the IAS examination is mentioned as below:- * Preliminary examination. * Mains examination. * Personnel interview. IAS examination syllabus:- IAS examination pattern:- Duties of IAS officer:- * To implement the policy requires supervision. * To handle the daily affairs of the government. * To implement the expenditure of public funds. * To implement the policies on the travelling places. * Planning in their district, making decision on action to be taken. Yes, after passing IAS examination, contenders have to go on training. Selected contenders are admitted to National Academy of Administration at Mussoorie to impart training to IAS probationers.
