With these marks you will not get placement in engineering colleges.

sorry my friend you are not eligible to take admission in any engineering college... because you at least have 40% marks in PCM.. otherwise you can't take admission in engineering college.. you can go for b.sc..

Well buddy , you see ... most of the colleges and universities in India have a minimum criteria of 60% for engineering and requires you to qualify and get good marks in their CET/AIEEE and other entrance exams based on State or AI level.

As per your statements mentioned above, I can figure it out that your marks are much less as per the demands of most colleges, but still you can try if you have got good reference or can pay donations.

You can try private colleges, but their fees will be high... and sorry to dissapoint you, but as far as getting into government colleges is concerned ,, its damn tough.

What I would advice you Dishank is that either go for something Bsc. sort if you are good at maths or science.. or else wait for an year... give your 12th exam once again along with AIEEE and other state level CET.
remember you have many atttempts, there is no limit for those who dare to dream and work hard....so study hard once again and you can get even into top rated engineering colleges...else try in nearby colleges........ its not big deal...

so i suggest you that if your wish os study engg
you go through the entrance exam
get the rank and then admission
but in placement most company ask for 60% in career
in this situation you have problem
but not worry,after you complete engg. Then you go for
a good course like java,.net,or ccna
then you get a good job...

Securing admission in the engineering stream will be difficult. Most of the institutes accept applications of candidates who have scored above 60% overall. Also it is important that the candidates should have scored above 60% in qualifying subjects. Since you have a low score in these subjects it looks like engineering is not a stream suitable for you. You need to analyse where your strength and select an appropriate stream accordingly.

Dear Friend
most engineering colleges specify minimum 50% marks in PCM for admissions, IIT JEE requires 60% marks, BITSAT need 80% agrregrate marks. As your marks are very less you may be unable to get admission in good government colleges. Please explore the possibility of admission in some private colleges through management quota.

maximum MNC company criteria is 60% through out.also some company allowed two year gape but maximum company allow one year gap in academic career.

only wipro and some .NET and PHP company allowed 50 % throughout .

but below 50% are not allowed any company.

so you are not eligible for placement in engineering college.

So for placement most of the companies not accept this %.

So you have to face some difficulties for placement.

Because the criteria is not satisfied as per company..

It is very difficult to get a good engineering college for you with these marks...so for better approachment, just write some entrance exams like aieee,IIT, and etc... after scoring a good marks in the mentioned exam and then apply for engineering in a good college...surely you will get it...

If you get 43.67% in 12th it is very difficult for you to get good college.But if you got the college then it depends on your studies, hardwork and knowledge.

Placements depends on the knowledge and confidence of the student that he can do or not. Your marks will not effect the placement.

Sorry to say that you have scored very less marks in 10+2 exam.
So you wont get chance to appear for campus placement.
But don't be disheartened you can apply in different companies personally after completing your degree.
Also try to not get backlogs in degree.
Don't lose hope try hard & after successfully completing your degree you can go for walk-ins in different companies.

for example WIPRO

Eligibility

1. Fulltime BE / BTech/ MCA
2. Candidate must have a minimum of 60% aggregate from all years/semesters in your degree.
3. Candidate must have a minimum of 60% aggregate in 10th and 12th.
4. B.E./B.Tech/MCA should be full time ONLY.
5. No backlogs or arrears allowed.


but i may vary from university to university but above is the general criteria for WIPRO...

AND for Satyam

Candidate should be a BE/ Btech (CS / IT / EEE / E&C) / MCA / B.Sc / BCA with Consistent first Class i.e 60%
Correspondence / Distance education programs are not being considered

so you can see for most of the MNC they are considering 60% in 12th class...
But since you cannot do anything with that better put hardwork on b.tech..

Minimum eligibility criteria for to attend the placements.

1.you need to have the 60% in your 10th,12th and Your degree.

2.First you have to pass all the subjects.

3.Full time BE/BTECH/MCA

these eligibility criteria can be varied from company to company.

All companies have diffrent criteria for eligibility ....some of company allow only those candidate who have 60 through out (EX. >=60 in 1oth 12th and BE/B.Tech) some of allow thos who have 65 through out......
but there are few of companies they dont need any criteria i means they allow all student who hav done Engineering .....

It's a really low score.
I think you are not eligible to get admission in engineering.
If you want to do engineering then you give donation to the college,this is the only solution to get admission in engineering.

Placements in engineering colleges depends on the performation of your in the 4 years in B.tech.
Also 12th marks matter, but your college marks overlap on your 12th class result in the interview.

sir i got 59.6% in class 12th and 58.6 in physics, maths and information practicas.... and i have got my admision in engineering in IT so noe what i have to do for placement.

I got 82% in 10th exam.

Your marks are very low. And mostly you wont be able to get placed.
I would advice you to do some value added course related to your field and then join any company. You wont get decent salary at the starting but eventually you will start earning good.

i got 51.6% in 12th and 45.33% in pcm.. can i get admission in Eng. collage.. in mechanical stream..???

I have scored 52.98 in HSC science with 44.33 marks in PCM. I got admission in private engineering college.
