There will be no problem if you not appear in improvement examination having applied for it. In this case the marks secured by you will be previously will be carried forward for your new result.

The only disadvantage in this case is that you will not get any another chance for appearing in improvement examination as one can apply for improvement examination only once.

In my view you should appear in the improvement examination even without any preparation because even you secure less marks then marks secured by you in your actual board examination will be carried forward and your overall aggregate remains as it is. So being tension free you should appear as there is no risk of securing lesser marks.

If I appear for the improvement exams and I could not score better marks then which marksheet will be valued, either the previous marksheet or the new marksheet indicating "appeared in improvement" reflecting the previous marks?
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
