Will there be any problem at the time of 10th examination if my 7 years old daughter is in 3rd standard?

sir, my daughter DOB is 05.08.2009. In some schools they said she is not eligible for 3rd STD, after that i got 3rd STD admission in one of CBSE schools, so is there any problem for her 10th STD exam or she can appear for 10th exam with this age? Kindly reply

The minimum age required for the candidate to appear in 10th standard examination is 15 years as on 31st March of the year of examination. Some boards like ICSE does not specify any minimum age limit to appear in 10th standard examination.

As per the information you have provided in your query, your daughter has not got admission in 3rd standard in some schools, the reason for this might be some schools keep minimum and maximum age limit to offer admission in any standard in their school. So, your daughter has not got admission in 3rd standard in some schools.

At last your daughter has secured admission in CBSE school in 3rd standard candidate being a 7 years old candidate, by completion of her 10th standard. she will attain the age of 14 years 8 months which is shortage of 4 months less than minimum age of 15 years required to appear in 10th standard board examinations. You can submit medical certificate obtained from any recognised doctor then, your daughter is eligible to appear in 10th standard board examinations.

No,as per CBSE age bar is not an issue to appear for 10th board examination. So, candidates who have passed 9th are eligible to get admission in 10th and to appear for entrance examination.

But, the school have guidelines to follow minimum age criteria as according to the state government norms. So, to get minimum age criteria visit to your school.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
