Does B.Tech percentage matters for getting job in PSUs?
I have done engineering course i.e. B.Tech. I want to know if the B.tech percentage matters for getting job in PSUs. Please reply me fast.

Yes, the B.Tech percentage is very much important factor for getting job in PSU's. Now-a-days the candidates are recruited in PSU's on the basis of GATE score and B.Tech percentage.
The minimum percentage required to get job in PSU's is 60% or above marks. With this academic percentage, the candidate is eligible to write GATE exam. On the basis of GATE score, the aspirants are recruited in various positions in PSU's. To get recruited in PSU's, the candidate should get good score in GATE exam. |

Yes, you should have at least 60% marks in your B.Tech degree plus you must have a valid GATE score. Selection will be based on the performance in the interview conducted by the PSU.
Therefore, try to qualify GATE with an excellent score. There is a lot of competition for PSU jobs and you need a very good academic record with excellent score for selection. |

Of course yes. B.Tech Percentage really matters in getting job in any of the Public Sector Undertaking company. Minimum percentage required basically varies from PSU to PSU. The basic percentage required for eligibility is "Minimum 60% marks" for all categories. i.e.,
For PGCIL, THDC, NTPC, GAIL Compaies: For Open (Unreserved Candidates) - Minimum 65% marks For OBC -Minimum 65% marks For SC - Minimum 65% marks For ST - Minimum 65% marks For PWD - Minimum 65% marks For Rest of the Companies: For Open (Unreserved Candidates) - Minimum 60% marks For OBC -Minimum 60% marks For SC - Minimum 60% marks For ST - Minimum 60% marks For PWD - Minimum 60% marks |
