Information Regarding IES Examination.

IES examination is conducted by UPSC in every year. IES examination is also known as the civil services examination. To appear in the IES examination you need the following eligibility criteria.

Educational Qualification = To appear in the IES examination you need a bachelor degree in any one of the following branch.

->Electrical engineering.
->Electronics & Communication engineering.
->Civil engineering.
->Mechanical engineering.

The final year candidates are also eligible to appear in the IES examination.

Age Limit = The age must be between 21 to 30 years at the time of appearing of this examination. The age relaxation is also applicable for the candidates belong to reservation category.

NOTE :- There are no percentage limit to appear in the IES examination. Only pass the qualifying examination is enough to appear for IES examination.

hi...there is no cut of marks for writing the indian engineering services examination ,any one who had cleared engineering or is in the final year of engineering is eligible to write the examination ,so you need not worry from that front and just keep all your concentration on preperation of the examination ,i am also attaching the brochure of the 2011 examination that will give you the complete details regarding the examination and also the syllabus of various subjects in which the examination is held

IES examination is conducted once a year by the UPSC for hiring students to the Indian engineering services .

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the exam you must have got 4 year engineering degree in any one of the following :

Electronics & Communications Engineering
Civil Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering

OR

Even if you have a M.Sc. degree or equivalent in Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject then you are eligible for the exam

Those who are in final year can also appear for the exam.

For general category :: you should be between 21 to 30 years
For SC/ST::21 to 35 years
For OBC::21 to 33 years

I.E.S i.e Indian Engineering Service Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission once in a year.This year examination was already over.

Eligibility criteria for this examination :-

Your Engineering degree in :-

• Electronics and Telcommunication Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Civil Engineering

Or candidates who are holding M.Sc degree in wireless communication,electronics,radio physics & radio engineering.

Education Qualification :-The candidate should have a graduate degree in engineering from any recognized university or equivalent qualification and there is no minimum percentage required for this examination.

Candidates who are studying in the last semester of engineering can also appear for examination.

Your age should be between 21 year and 30 years of the year of examination.The age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories.

So,don't worry there is no minimum marks required for this examination.

If you have completed graduation degree then you are applicable for IES exam .

There are no marks criteria for IES exam.

ELIGIBLE DEPARTMENT OF IES EXAM:-

IES is eligible for given below department of engineering.

Details about IES:

IES is Indian Engineering Service and this exam is being conducted by UPSC every year for candidates to join in Indian Engineering organizations which are undertaken by Government of India such as IRSE,CES,IDSE etc.

For applying for this exam there are certain eligibility conditions and they may include:

* Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Age limits:

* Candidate who are appearing for the exam must have a age limit of 21-30 years.

* Candidates who belong to SC/ST should have 21-35 years.

* Candidates who belong to OBC should have 21-33 years.

Education Qualification:

* Candidate must have finished their degree in Engineering/Technology in departments like

I.E.S stands for Indian Engineering Service . The examination of ies is conducted by the upsc union public service commission of india in every year .

Education Qualification for I.E.S Examination :

you should be qualified for bachelor degree in engineering stream like , { Mechanical engineering , Chemical engineering , Electrical engineering and Electronics and Telecommunication engineering } from recognized board .

NOTE : there is no percentage is require for ies examination . only the candidate qualified in bachelor degree in any one of the engineering course are eligible to apply for the examination .

NOTE : If your final year student are also eligible to apply for the examination , but you should require to submit legal document .

Age limit for I.E.S Examination :

You age should be 21 to 30 years and the relaxation is given to ,

>>ST/SC candidates for 5 years

>>OBC candidates for 3 years

>>Handicapped candidates for 10 years
