I am doing pharm d for Dow university of health and science. Now I want to start career in USA as a pharmacist. So i want to know how can i get US pharmacist licence?

Here are the steps to be followed to obtain the US Pharmacist licence :

* Apply for Education Credentials Evaluators (ECE) to gain recognition of equivalence of your Foreign qualifications for which you need to show the proof of your degree.

* Apply to NABP to start the foreign pharmacy graduates equivalency committee certification process.

* Register as pharmacy intern in a state board of pharmacy.

* Take the FPGEC and TOEFL ibt.

* Submit the record of internship hours to the state board of pharmacy.

* Once approved,apply for and take the NAPLEX and MJPE and apply for Pharmacy licensure.

ELIGIBILITY :

* Candidate should be fluent in English.

* Candidate should complete graduation of an approved pharmacy program in their home jurisdiction.

* Candidate should be certified with Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee (FPGE) Certification.
