Eligibility criteria and minimum percentage required to apply in IBPS exam for B.A.(Political Science) student?


Hello friends, I am studying in B.A. with Political Science. I want to enter in IBPS. I would like to know that I am eligible for giving IBPS exam? If yes, then what percentage is needed to apply?

Eligibility Criteria and Minimum Percentage Required to apply for IBPS Recruitment:

The detailed eligibility criteria required for IBPS based recruitment's in details given below,

>> Minimum Qualification Required:
* Candidates must have completed their Bachelor's Degree or Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
* Candidates who are done with their final year are also eligible to apply for these IBPS recruitments.

>> Age Criteria Required:
For clerical cadre - 20 to 28 years
For PO Recruitment - 20 to 30 years
Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per government rules.

>> Minimum Percentage Required:
There is no certain minimum percentage required to be eligible for this recruitment. Only pass in Graduation is required to be eligible.

>> As BA in Political Science which is a Graduate Degree you are eligible to apply for this recruitment as any discipline in Graduation is accepted.

To be eligible to apply for IBPS examination, you should have Bachelor's degree course in any discipline from a Government recognised university. No specific percentage criteria is required to apply for IBPS examination. The age criteria required to apply for IBPS examination is 20 to 30 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules.

The eligibility criteria for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection Common Written examination:

1. The qualification required to apply for CWE is bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Final year candidates can also apply for exam.

2. The percentage of marks required for examination is just passing percentage of marks in bachelor's degree.

If you have passed bachelor's degree then you can apply for this examination.

The acronym IBPS stands for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection.

Eligibility criteria for IBPS CWE for Clerk and PO exam:

Academic qualification: Graduation in any discipline.

Minimum percentage of marks in graduation is 40%.

The age criteria for Clerk is 20-28 years and that for Probationary officer is 20-30 years. You can get upper age relaxation if you belong to reserved category.

If you want to get job in nationalised banks you have to appear and qualify for various stages of IBPS examination.

The common eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

The age limit varies with examination and also relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category.

There is no minimum required aggregate in bachelor degree to appear for examination.

Since, you are pursuing BA in Political Science, you can very much apply for the IBPS examination after the completion of BA degree course.
Candidates those who have completed their Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University can appear in the IBPS examination. There is no fixed percentage of marks required in the Graduation for applying in the examination.

IBPS refers to Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and same is a body that conducts different bank examinations for recruitment of bank officials at various posts across 21 nationalized banks of India.

Being a student of Bachelor of Arts ( B.A. ) in Political Science degree course you will be eligible for appearing in IBPS bank examinations for the posts of a bank clerk and bank probationary officer as per the minimum education required for these posts. Marks and stream of bachelor degree do not matter for the eligibility for above-mentioned posts.

Apart from the educational qualification, you need to have the nationality of India with your age lying within 20 years to 28 years for the post of a bank clerk and 20 years to 30 years for the post of bank probationary officer. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

The eligibility criteria to apply for IBPS Clerk or PO exam:

>>Candidate should be graduate or studying in final year of bachelor's degree. The minimum percentage of marks required is 40%.

>>The minimum age limit is 20 years for both Clerk and Probationary officer.

Bachelor of Arts in Political Science candidate can apply for IBPS CWE of Clerk or PO in final year of bachelor's degree.

Yes, candidates passed bachelor degree are eligible to appear for IBPS examination.

The minimum required qualification to appear for examination is :

Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

The age limit to appear for examination varies with examination. There is relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category.
