How I can apply for IRS
Shall I eligible for entrance

For becoming an Indian Revenue Services Officer, you need to qualify Civil services examination, which is conducted by UPSC every year.

Hence, after completion of your B.Com, you can apply for Civil Services exam. There is age limit for 21 to 30 years for this examination.

Number of attempts are also limited for Civil Services examination.

1. General category: 4 attempts
2. OBC category : 7 attempts
3. SC/ST category : no limit

The selection is based on the marks obtained in the CSAT, Mains and Interview.
