I am a student of B.E. 3 year. i want to know about the eligibility for IRS exam 2012. Can I
appear for the exam in this year or after completing my B.E. Please also tell me how can I prepare for exam?

IRS Stands for Indian Revenue Service This exam is conducted by union Public Service Commission and this examinations is conducted by Every year.If you interest to apply this exam you should be have this eligibility's.
Eligibility Criteria For IRS Exam:-
>>The General Candidate age should between 21 to 30 years and The Other Backward Caste candidate age limit should between 21 to 33 years and The Scheduled Tribe/Scheduled Caste candidate age limit should between 21 to 35 years.
>>The Candidate should be citizen of india.
>>The Candidate should be complete the bachelor degree or engineering Degree in any stream from recognized university and being final year student also eligible for this examination.

Educational Qualification:-
Candidate should complete the bachelor degree or engineering Degree in any stream from recognized university.
Final year candidate can also apply.

Age limit:
For General:21-30 Years
For OBC:21- 33 Years
For SC/ST:21-35 Years
Nationality:-
Candidates who possess the citizenship of India, Bhutan, Nepal or Tibet can apply for this exam.

Selection Process:-
Preliminary test
Main Examination
Interview .

Number of Attempts:-
General Candidate: 4 Attempts
OBC: 7 Attempts
SC/ST: No restriction

** You must score 60 percent in first attempt
** Age limit is 20 to 30 years for IRS
** The age limit is extended by 3 years for OBC.
** Age limit for SC/ST is extended by 5 years.
