At age of 17 years, the best opportunity to work in government sector is through National Defence Academy exam. Candidates who have passed 10+2 from a recognized board can apply for NDA/NA exam conducted by UPSC.

Age limit for exam is 16.5-19.5 years. One important condition is that only unmarried male Indian candidates can apply. For Indian Navy and Air Force, mathematics and Physics is necessary for exam.

NDA/NA exam consists of written test and Service Selection Board. The notification for NDA I exam in 2016 will come on 02-01-2016. After that if you meet all eligibility criteria, you can apply at http://www.upsconline.nic.in

There are various jobs after 12th. But the minimum age limit to apply govt job is 18 years. So you should apply these govt. job after 18 years only.

But from now you can start study for these competitive exams. I will give you list of govt. job :

The above mentioned are some of the opportunities for undergraduates.But according to me it is not good to stop education with just 12th standard because in this present competition world the days are too worst that even the post graduates with even 70-80% are finding it difficult to get jobs.

There are limited government jobs on the basis of class 12th qualification. It will depend on your stream also in some jobs. You can apply for NDA exam if you want to join Indian Army or Navy or Air Force as an officer. Age limit for this exam is 16.5 to 19 years. There is SCRA exam for PCM stream candidates.

There are some exams conducted by SSC like CHSLE and stenographers exam for which you you can apply. There is Indian postal assistant job and Indian Railway Ticket collector job also for 12th pass candidates. NICL assistant exam is also there for you.

No, you are not eligible to appear for the government jobs as per your age criteria.

But you can appear for the NDA examination conducted by the UPSC twice every year. NDA stands for National Defense Academy and it is the examination conducted for the recruitment of the candidates in the defense services.

But to join the other jobs the minimum age limit is 18 years. So you can start the preparation to join other jobs as like SSC CHSLE or IB.

You can enter into Defence sector at age of 17 years after completion of 10+2 from a recognized board. You can apply for National Defence Academy exam conducted every year twice by UPSC.

As per your age and educational criteria, you can apply for government sector like Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force through NDA exam.

The candidate's who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. 12th standard with PCM are eligible for all post but you if your 12th standard subject not like Mathematics and Physics are eligible for Indian Army post. Final year of 12th standard candidate are eligible for NDA exam.

Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19.5 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

If you want a government job with 12th qualification,there is a chance for police constable.For police constable need some more qualifications like hight weight. and you have to be physically fit then you can go for the next procedure.higth weight based on state government.

Hi friends, As you are completed 12th, then there are so many government Jobs that may be Central or state level.

1) Railway Exam : various posts like TC, Helper in class C and D sector.
2) National Defence Exam : Age limit 16.5 to 19 years.
So you can also try this.

I am shanu of class 12 studying in CBSE board. Students everywhere are hurry-burry on applying their JEE and NEET examinations. I am not interested to attend these two exams. But i have much interest to attend competitive exams like UPSC,N.D.A, Railway,post-office,..... exams.
