Sir, I have retired from Indian army the last year. My qualifications is 12th pass. Can I apply for Indian railways or any government job, please tell me. My mobile no. 7310287553.

Eligibility criteria required to apply for Indian Railways for an Ex-servicemen are as follows:-
Candidate must be a holder of Intermediate/graduation degree holder from a recognized university.
Candidate must have attained at least 60% aggregate.
Candidate age should be 18 years to 30 years. For ex-servicemen it should be 40 years.

You haven't mentioned your age so it is quite difficult to give answer to your question as because there is age limitation for various post in Indian Railways.
Candidates who have completed 12th standard in any discipline from a recognized board, are eligible to apply for Railway job for the post of Junior Clerk, Assistant Account Clerk, Data Entry Operator, Assistant Loco Pilot, etc. Age of the candidates must not be more than 28 years.

Yes, you can apply for the Post in Indian Railway jobs or any other jobs in the government sector. But you will be related as an Ex Service men and get some reservations in the government jobs. You can freely apply for RRB, NTPC or TTE exams which is conducted every year. You can easily apply for all posts in the government sector jobs, but for few you cannot as of the age criteria and eligibility. Get updates from the Government job portals for better job opportunities.

I am sorry you are not eligible to apply in railway.

In railway there is separate vacancy for Ex- service man.

You can apply for this post after completion graduation in any stream from recognized university.

You can apply for TTE, RRB NTPC, RRB Technician posts.

Selection process
Computer based online exam.
1. General studies-history, geography, constitution, current affairs.
2. Aptitude- mathematics.
3. Reasoning- puzzle, logical reasoning.
