Yes, definitely you can apply for clerk post in Indian Railway subjected to condition that you must fulfill the age limit criteria i.e 18 to 32 years. Relaxation in maximum age limit is given as per govt. norms.

Yes, an Ex-Indian Army retired Clerk can apply for Clerk job in Indian Railways. You can apply for other jobs like Enquiry Cum Reservation Clerk, Train Ticket Examiner (TTE), Grade D, Track Man, Points Man etc. In railways the employment notice contains some vacancies reserved for ex-servicemen. But, they can apply for other vacancies as well; the age relaxation will be given to the ex-servicemen.
