Hello Sir,
I have qualified for Stenographer Post
in Indian Ordnance Factories.
I have qualified in the written test.
Please let me know what other selection
process exists for written test qualifiers?

Congratulations to you on qualifying in written examination of Indian Ordnance Factory Stenographer recruitment and being shortlisted for further selection procedure.

When you have qualified in the written examination then you must see the result status because there are two categories in which stenographers are recruited, one of them is under 80 wpm shorthand speed and other one is under 100 wpm shorthand speed.

So you need to confirm first and check for which category you have applied and start preparation for skill test/ shorthand test of your stenography.

All those candidates who have qualified in written test will be called for shorthand/ stenography test on the centers decided by Indian Ordnance Factory so you need to be ready for the shorthand test.

You have a certificate in stenography/shorthand writing of a reputed institution so you need that certificate and your other qualification certificates to the center when you will be called for stenography test so you should make everything ready to go for next stage.

There would be three other steps to pass stenography test that you need to pass then only you will be considered for the job so read below :

First of all you will have to write speech made by a professional/ expert on the test center in 80 wpm speed or 100 wpm speed (under which you have qualified). You need to write that speech on notepad in shorthand writing and make it clear.

Then you will be sent to the computer systems and you need to write that written speech in computer system as per spoken with rules and there would be a particular time given to you to write that speech on system.

After writing speech on computer systems, you will be given with a blank sheet to write almost 10-20 lines of the speech in your handwriting you wrote on computer systems then your system typed data will be saved and your sheet will be taken after confirmation of all certificates.

If you gets good marks in both written test and interview then you can get the job.
