Respected Sir, I want to apply for NDA exam but I don't about the the physical criteria required. My height is 6 feet and weight is 76 kg. I want to know whether I am eligible to apply for NDA or not?

To join NDA(National Defense Academy), one must have minimum height of 157.5 cms for Army and 162.5 cms for Air Force. Your weight must be as per height and age. As your height is 6 feet, so your weight must be as below :

For age 16-17 years : 60-62.5 KG
For age 17-18 years : 63-65.0 KG
For age 18-19 years : 64.5-66.5 KG

But your weight is too much comparable to above criteria. So you are not fulfilling the physical requirement for NDA. My suggestion to you is that, you should exercise daily to loose your body fat up to eligible criteria.

No, I am very sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for NDA (National Defence Academy) Examination with the above mentioned physical criteria. Here are the basic physical standards that are required. As you have exceed the weight that is required for your corresponding height, I am once again sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for NDA exam.

As you have mentioned your height is 6 feet which means 182.88 cms when it's converted into cms.

>> For 183 cms weight (Indian Air Force and Indian Army)
* 62.5 kgs - 16 to 17 years
* 65 kgs - 17 to 18 years
* 66.5 Kgs - 18 to 19 years

>> For 183 cms weight (Indian Navy)
* 63 kgs - 16 to 17 years
* 65 kgs - 17 to 18 years
* 67 Kgs - 18 to 19 years

As per your physical criteria, you are not eligible for NDA exam. I have attached a document where you can find out the physical criteria for NDA exam.
