PSU stands for the Public Sector Undertakings. Some of the best PSUs for the electrical engineers are NTPC,BHEL,SAIL,ONGC,DRDO,IOCL etc.

Recently, these PSUs have started to shortlist candidates for the interview on the basis of the GATE rank secured in the exam.

There is very less possibility of getting job in PSUs with rank 1763 even if you are from the SC category. If you will go through the the previous years trend, general candidates get PSU upto 1-400 rank, for OBC it is around 1-600 rank and for your category it is 1-1000 rank.

Thanks
