Admission procedure of lateral entry in Diploma courses?

Candidate have to pass entrance exam to get admission in Diploma course through lateral entry. Some colleges give admission on the basis of marks in ITI or Voctional Diploma courses. You have to appear in entrance exams like VOCET. VOCET exam is conducted by respected state boards.
After passing the exams just apply for the admission in desired colleges. Colleges will give admission on the basis of your score in entrance exam.
If you cleared the college's cut off just complete the admission procedure by submitting the required documents along with the admission fee.

Eligibility :

Candidate must have passed ITI / 12th Vocational / 12th with PCM from any recognised institute or Board.

First of all candidate have to apply for admission through submitting admission form along with required documents like Migration certificate, 10th marks sheet and ITI marks sheet, Date of Birth certificate etc.
College will create a merit list on the basis of marks in qualifying exam. Candidate will get on the basis of this merit list.

After the diploma, if you want to get into Engineering then there is a special examination for the diploma fellows named LEET.

If you qualify in the Test then you will be allotted a seat in the engineering college based on the rank in the examination and your diploma percentage.

You will be given the admission in directly in the 2nd year of engineering.

A candidate can take admission in B.Tech after completing Diploma as a Lateral Entry candidate. All you need to do is that, apply for entrance exams after completing Diploma in your state and if you qualify the said entrance exam and got a valid rank in the exam just go for counselling in your state with the rank which you got. If there will be any seat in the respective colleges within this rank, you will definitely get admission in the said college.

To get Lateral entry admission in Diploma course, you must have completed 12th standard or two years ITI course from a recognised board. To get lateral entry admission in Diploma course, you must have to appear in entrance examinations like VOCLET, etc. which is conducted by your respective state entrance examinations board. By qualifying the entrance examination, based upon your examination rank, you will be allotted a seat in a particular college and you can get admission in second year of three years Diploma course.

There is no Lateral entry examination for admission in Diploma course, however to get admission in Diploma course you need to have fulfilled the below mentioned criteria.

Eligibility criteria:

> Candidates should have passed their 10th boards from a recognized University

> Candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in their boards

> Candidates should have passed in All Compulsory Subjects

-->You have to write LEET exam to pursue your B.E. course after your Diploma. You will directly allowed to join 2nd year of Engineering Course.
-->After you clear this exam, you will go for selecting the colleges through merit list.
-->Some colleges doesn't allot seats for Lateral Entry students.
-->In case you failed to qualify this exam, then also you can do your engineering course.
-There are many Engineering colleges around there to offer tou Lateral entry.
-Private Institutions will have allotted some seats for Management quota, so you have to visit the college and get a seat through Management.
-Fees structure may vary when you get a seat through LEET and Management seat.
