I want to be an ips officer and now i am in graduation first year from open board can i apply for IPS exams after graduation.? Am I eligible to apply for the exam or not? Can someone please provide me the answer soon as possible? Thanks!

Those candidates who have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university are eligible for IPS exam.

Your age should be in between 21 years to 32 years for general candidates. Age relaxation is given below -

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates
10 years relaxation for PHC candidates

The eligibility is a graduation degree from a recognized university. The upper age limit is 32 years for general candidate, for OBC 35 years and for SC/ST 37 years. There are 3 rounds; they are Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam and Interview for the selection. You have to clear the preliminary exam first to appear for mains exam.
