I have completed my BCS with 1st class, i want to take admission for B.TECH, So, is there JELET entrance exam is compulsory for lateral entry into B.Tech?? I am from Pune, refer me colleges in pune for B.Tech.

Yes, it is compulsory to appear in JELET examination to get lateral entry admission in B.Tech course.

You can also get admission in B.Tech course through Management quota without appearing in JELET examination.

But, you need to pay more fee for Management Quota seat than the Convenor quota seat. So, its upto you whether to appear in JELET examination or not for taking Lateral Entry admission in B.Tech course.

Almost all the colleges in Pune offer Lateral Entry admission in Pune. You can choose the list of college you wish to apply for admission during counselling process.

Yes, it is compulsory to appear for JELET examination in order to get admission via lateral entry scheme. The better you score, the good it is for you as it will land you into a good college.
