Eligibility criteria, age limit and number of attempts available in JEE Advanced?
hello everyone
please let me know the eligibility like age and number of attempts in jee advanced 2015??? please reply as soon as possible thank you and regards |

--> To be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced examination, the candidate must have secured top 1,50,000 rank (including all categories) in JEE Main examination.
--> To be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2015 examination, the candidate must have been born on or after 1st October, 1990 if belonging to the General or OBC-NCL category and on or after 1st October, 1985 if belonging to the SC/ST/PwD category. --> Maximum number of attemots allowed to appear in JEE Advanced examination is two times that too in two consecutive years. |

Eligibility Criteria of JEE Advanced 2015:
To be eligible for appearing in this examination, you must be among the top 150000 in JEE (Main) 2015 Examination. Apart from this, you must have passed 12th class or Higher Secondary Education for the first time in 2014 academic year or in academic year 2015 to be eligible. Age Criteria of JEE Advanced 2015: Note: You must have been born on or after 01.10.1990 (Applicable only if you belong to General or OBC Non Creamy Layer Category). And You must have been born on or after 01.10.1985 (Applicable only if you belong to SC/ ST/ PWD Category) to be eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced 2015. JEE Advanced 2015 Number of Attempts: * Maximum attempts - 2 times * Candidate need to attempt JEE Advanced in consecutive years i.e., JEE Advanced 2015 may be your 1st Attempt or the 2nd Consecutive attempt. |

Eligibility Criteria for Appearing in JEE (Advanced) 2015
You should be among the top 1,50,000 (all categories included) in JEE (Main) 2015. Percentages of the total number of candidates for various categories are as follows: 50.5% for General from common merit list 27% fro OBC Non Creamy Layer 15% for SC and 7.5% for ST. You should have been born on or after October 1, 1990 Age relaxation for reserved category candidates. You can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times that too in consecutive years. You should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in all the subjects in either 2014 or 2015. You should not have taken admission. |
