I am a 12th student. My subjects are Biology, Chemistry, Nutrition, Geography, Bengali and English. Am I eligible to get admission in B.Sc(Pathology) course?

Yes, you are eligible to apply for B.Sc in Pathology after completing 12th standard in Science stream. The qualification required for doing B.Sc in Pathology is 12th standard or its equivalent qualification in Science stream with Biology, Chemistry, Physics from a recognized board. Most of the reputed colleges require at least 50% marks in graduation for getting admission.

B.Sc in Pathology is not offered in India. It is offered in Abroad. If want to pursue B.Sc in Pathology then you have to pursue it in Abroad. The minimum criteria to do B.Sc in Pathology is that you must have completed class 12th from a recognized Board with 70% marks in Aggregate.

# In order to get specialist in pathologist it is required that one has done undergraduate course in medicine or have done MBBS degree. After successful completion of MBBS degree one should go for specialization in pathology.


# Steps involved in pursuing pathology:

* Firstly, go for medical entrance examination in order to get admission for MBBS degree course.
* Secondly, after admission in MBBS degree course, one has to successfully complete the four and a half year duration course along with one year compulsory internship.
* Thirdly, after successful completion of MBBS degree course along with compulsory internship, one has to go for further study for specialization as per his/her choice. Here candidate may go for specialization in pathology.
