Can a commerce student give NDA entrance exam?

Sorry, You are not eligibe as only Science Students can appear in NDA exams .Commerce students are not eligible .The eligibility criteria in brief is given below :

• Only unmarried male candidates are allowed
• Must be an Indian
• Age- 16.5 to 19 years
• Must have either passed or appearing in class 12th exam with Physics ,chemistry and Maths
• This exam is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) and you can get details from the official website of upsc that is http://www.upsc.gov.in

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NDA EXAM

Those candidate have completed their 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable.

SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR NDA EXAM:-

1) Written test which is conducted by UPSC.

2)Personal Interview.

Date of commencement of notification : 31-12-2011
Last date to receive completed application forms : 30-01-2012

You can appear for the NDA [NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY] exam, conducted by the union public service commission [UPSC], .

Through this exam, one can apply for all the combatant forces of the Indian army, i.e. Navy, air force & military branch...
As you are a commerce student hence you can not apply for the Naval & air force wing.
As for apply in air force & in naval force of India, you must have PHYSICS & MATHS in 12th,with at least 60%.
But you can apply for the military branch.

The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years,...
There is not any kind of age relaxation criteria is applicable any reserved category.



You must have Indian nationality with marital status unmarried.

I am happy to inform you that you can apply for N.D.A after 12th with commerce.
N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

Eligibility criteria:-
-pass 12th with any stream from recognized university or board
-age limit:-16.5-19 year
-Medically fit

There are three step of selection:-
-Written exam
-Interview
-medical exam

If you qualify the all you will be selected

Graduate from recognized university around 60% marks.
age-between 21 to 25.
govt time to time publish their vacancy in employment newspaper (comes weekly)and other newspapers.

NDA Stands for National Defense Academy.

The NDA Examination is conducted every year two times by the Union Public Service Commission for the selection of candidates in the following wings :

a) Indian Army

b) Indian Navy

c) Indian Air Force

The Eligibility Criteria For NDA Examination are :

* You should have completed 12th with PCM from any recognized board.

* If you have completed 12th in any discipline then you can also apply but only for Indian Army.
