As you are interested in pursuing LLB course, so there are two options for you. You may join LLB after 12th standard which is called BA LLB and other is you may join after graduation. The BA LLB course after 12th will be of 5 years long and the duration of LLB after graduation will be of 3 years. You have to appear for CLAT entrance examination which will decide your selection in law colleges. So, it depends on you that when you want to appear for the examination as both the ways are open to you. And there is no age criteria for the examination, hence you can appear for it whenever you want.

You can apply for entrance exam like CLAT after completion of your degree. There are two kind of law courses on the basis of class 12th and another on the basis of degree.

Hence, you will be eligible for LLB after graduation. Admission will be on the basis of performance in the written exam and seats are allotted through counselling.

According to my opinion, you must opt for the LLB course after the completion of your Graduation course.
Candidates those who have completed their Graduation in any discipline form a recognised University with a minimum of 55% of marks in it are eligible to opt for the LLB course.

It's nice to see that you are interested in Law field. You are definitely eligible for LLB course after Graduation. You need to appear and qualify in the CLAT entrance exam. CLAT Examination will be released during the month of February and if you need more details please, Official website.
