Am I eligible to do Ph.D in computer science after completion of MCA? What is the minimum criteria followed for it? Can someone please give me the complete details on the same soon? It will be helpful if you can answer me on this with your experience sharing.

You have completed MCA degree so you are eligible for PhD course but you should qualify in UGC NET exam.

NET stands for National eligibility test and this exam is conducted by UGC

the educational qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from recognised University with minimum 50% marks and relaxation of 5% is given to reserved students and final year students are also legible for NET exams .

There is no age bar for NET exam but for jrf post sure it should be below 28 years.

Yes, you are eligible to do PhD in Computer Science after completion of MCA course. The applicant must have passed MCA with at least 60% marks from a recognized university are eligible for the PhD in Computer Science. The candidates will be selected to the PhD in Computer Science on the basis of their performance in the entrance test and interview. The candidates who qualified NET / SET / GATE will be exempted from the entrance test, but they have to appear for interview.

After completion of MCA course, you are eligible for Ph.D course in Computer Science.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks are eligible for Ph.D course.

There are no age criteria.
