Am I eligible to pursue Ph.D in regular mode if I have completed post graduation in IT through correspondence?


I've done my post graduation in IT through correspondence, Am i eligible for pursuing a regular Phd program in the areas of computer science in INDIA or in the US? Can you please provide me this information to me as soon as possible? Thank you!

You have completed post graduation degree in IT through correspondence so you are eligible for Ph.D course in regular basis but you must have valid GATE, UGC NET or CSIR NET score. Candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for Ph.D course. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree. There is no age criteria. Your age should be below 28 years for JRF post.
