I am planing to take admission in Ph.D. course. So i want to know if NET is required for admission in KUK?

Yes, UGC NET score card is required for Ph.D admission.

The educational qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET exam.

There is no age criteria for NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years.

If you are ST/OBC/SC catagory you get 7 yrs extra

Most of the time, having NET is not enough. You need to have JRF to be gauranteed DIRECT P.hD admission. With NET only, you will be allowed to do M.Phil (2yrs) before starting P.HD (if your Research Proposal is accepted by Board of Studies in your University)
