Ph.D in English without clearing the UGC NET exam?


Can I do my PhD in English without clearing the ugc net exams? I am looking for a quick response from your side. Would you please help me in this regard?

Yes, it is surely possible to get admission in PH.D without UGC NET score. You have to appear for written exam and interview conducted by the concerned university.

Most of the top universities prefer candidates with a NET score admission. You will have less chance of getting admission in a top university if you don't have NET score.

Yes, the aspirant can study the PhD in English without clearing UGC NET in Amity University. But they have to appear for an entrance examination and interview conducted by the university. The website link is http://www.amity.edu/phd/eligibility.asp
