I am a nephrologist from India.I have just completed my MD in nephrology this year and now i am looking for a PHD course in western countries.I got satisfactory results in all my exams,now I want to know how can I avail such scope?What are the eligibility criteria for seletion?How to apply?

After completion of MD course, you are eligible for Ph.D course in outside but you should qualify in GRE exam.

GRE stands for Graduate Record Examination.

There are no specific eligibility criteria for GRE Test. This examination open for all candidates who are willing to pursue for higher degree in abroad.

Types of Graduate Record Examination test

1) Revised General Test
2) GRE Subject Tests

GRE exam Pattern:-

The GRE exam is conducted in three sections

Section I:-

1) Verbal Reasoning
i) Reading Comprehension
ii) Text Completion
iii) Sentence Equivalence

Section II:-

1) Quantitative Reasoning

Section III:-

1) Analytical Writing Assessment
i) Issue-Task essay
ii )Argument-Task essay

You are eligible for the course of PhD Abroad.
You need to crack the GRE and TOEFL Examination and once you are able to do that you will be eligible for the course of PhD Abroad.
You need to choose from the shortlisted Universities where you want to pursue your PhD Degree.
Once you do so you need to crack a Personal Interview and you will be eligible for the course of PhD Abroad.
