M.Tech and MBA are the two top streams of any company. Still if you do the M.Tech from IITs and MBA from IIMs , both serves as better career options.

If I go further, M.Tech makes you to join core companies of your field and makes you technically advanced.You will attain top positions of techincal field like project manager, Specialist etc.

If you do MBA from IIMs , your life would start with highest packages (for sure more than M.tech). You will have astronomical salaries and the pressure is also the same as you are carrying the main responsibilities of the company. MBA, managers are the wheels of a company. revenue generators and they need to be very effective as the entire company finance and affairs relate to them more .

MBA is basically very lucrative field for those who want to become managers, not just writing code and confined to four walls or a cube.


My choice would be to MBA.

The both post graduation courses MBA and M.TECH are good we can't say this course is bad.Each course have their own speciality.It's all depends on you interest.
MBA:
The MBA is a post graduation which comes under management process.The MBA consists of courses like
FINANCE,
HR,
INFORMATION SYSTEMS,
MARKETING etc.
M.TECH:
The M.TECH is a post graduation for engineering graduates.The m.tech is doing for specialisation in one particular field.
The all top universities offering this both MBA and M.TECH course.

Mba is the better course than mtech.because mba gives you a good business ideas and good management

MBA will definitely always more in demand because each small or large organization needs manager.
Here the question of interest is there. IF one is interested to go in depth in technical,then he should go for M.TECH.
otherwise,MBA is a good option.

If you completed MBA then your great demand for Marketing,Finance and Human Resources are in a demand for any organization.

If you completed B.TECH then your more demand in research fields, have interest in teaching job or want to sharpen your technical skills further, after completing your engg degree.
So, the degree of both have their own importance.

both are good courses.

through MBA we can get placed into many companies and one can establish his own firm.
with M.Tech one can do research works.

with MBA we do managerial related works and
with M.Tech we do technical works.

i think MBA is more in demand according to the present scenario, the main demanding branch in MBA is finance, marketing and human resource

MBA certainly has more scope than M.TECH so it is more in demand now.I would suggest a student to go for MBA rather than M.tech because MBA offers early job having high salary from the beginning.

According to me its MBA because i have seen my relatives and friends wanting to be an MBA student and studying for it. Even many of them whom u ask they will first say that want MBA rather than becoming a M-TECH student. And if u study hard then it is easy to get MBA.

MBA a useful after doing degree in technical because by this you have knowledge of both fields and you can serve by your best.

from my point of view MBA is more in demand than M tech because in today industries are growing up and up so it requires good management people to manage the whole firm . Without MBA person it can not manage . If there are Mtech people then they know the technology but do not know the how to manage the resource available to them . Hi, mba or mtech both are in demanand. both can not be replaced by each other. but yes we will do rating then the mba will be founded in more demand, in comprison of all courses wheather it is mtech. because the scope, subject portion and job availability & opportunity are high if you do mba.
The requirement of management is everywhere, in every sector or industry.
without management no sector can grow.

I go with M-tech as its provides advanced knowledge for the B-tech knowledge. but M.B.A is totally different from B-tech and also very new for the candidate who has done his B-tech.

MBA is more demanding because in MBA peoples are coming from various stream science, arts and commerce where in M.Tech only science students are coming

Both the courses have their respective importance and value in the market. It depends on your future plans and interests, which one you want to choose and pursue as your career option.

After B.tech you should go for MBA. because even after M.TECH people go for MBA.
Reason is MBA increasessalary package of Engineers manifolds.
Simple exam I can give is taht in IIM-A their are lots of engineers in everyseason because they know after doing MBA they will get much bettersalary than an M.TECH person.
If you want to do specialised MBA than MBA from IIT is best option for you but if you want the tag of IIM BRAND then go for IIMS.
But if you liked EC in your engineering much then you should go for MBA from an IIT, not from an IIM as IN IIMs their are not specialised technical or engineering MBA courses like IITs.
Now JMET has been scrapped and IITs use CAT ( Common Aptitude Test) score for calling interview for their MBA Programmes.
IIMs too use only CAT score to call for interviews.

For Research oriented M.tech is best , especially M.tech in IITs and IN top NIT's is best and MBA degree form the Best B-schools is precious

Mtech is better as you are done with Btech course.The highest salary can be given by software companies like microsoft,facebook,google etc.

now a days MBA is more demanded.........
but if you continued our degree field then then do M.Tech..........
and if you interested in management side then do MBA..........
considering today's situation people want short time more money that's why more demand for MBA.............

Same doubt i had also but my professore clear me about that.

Let me explain:-

No doubt both the course MBA and M.Tech are good.

But if you have completed your gradution in engineering then the best choice for you is say M.E or M.Tech

And if you have cleared your graduation instead of engineering stream then the Best option is MBA.

i hope my answer had cleared your doubt.

ya, i think mba is more demand than m.tech. the elligibility criteria make the difference.in the former case non-engineer can apply,but in the later case only b.tech pass out students can apply.

If you are a CSE or IT branch student, then MBA is the right degree to go for.
However for ECE students , M.Tech plays a vital role in their career.

For branches like Mechanical, Civil and others, you may choose a degree in which you want to go for, if you want to go for Technical degree then M.Tech otherwise if you want some Managerial work with good skills then MBA is the best..!!

It all depends on you what you want to do.

If you are a technology keen than you should go for M.Tech that will be best.

If you are not so interested in Technology than you should go for a MBA degree.

Both degrees have their different different areas, You have to decide with which one you can do best...

Mba student has more career option, he can go in marketing sector also but M.Tech student has to do engineering job.

as we are all witnessing the rise in companies in different fields.. where as the well qualified workforce is not in good supply for them.. doing m.tech dont supply enough satisfaction to managae the company properly.. but mba in any major does lead to a good life.. mba provides more confidence to the candidate and confidence is what matters if you are to get into any private firm mainly.. as more and more private companies are growing and creating opportunites for young india.. but there is a precaution aswell.. doing mba is not the only part, but it must be from a good institution.. because good academics along with good institution make you eligible to discover gold..

If You have interested to be an enterprenuer, then MBA is so important and one has to study.

Hai, friends, according to me MBA has more demand in sociaty. you can complete MBA in 7 years after completing 10th where as to complete M.Tech need 8 years after completing 10th class. Studying MBA is some what easier than M.Tech. If we are good at simple maths and business news then you can simply complete your MBA where as to complete M.Tech you have good and depth maths and logical mind set and your good at practical knowledge .
Both of them have good demand in sociaty but we can get MBA much easier than M.Tech.
