Re: Am I eligible for NET exam after completing B.Com and pursuing MA with same subjects?
Yes, you are eligible to appear in NET examination after completing master degree from recognised university.
NET stands for National Eligibility Test and it conducted for recruitment of candidate as Lecturer or JRF. The eligibility to appear for examination is :- Candidate must have passed master degree from recognised university with 55%. Candidate age must be less than 28 years for JRF and no limitation for Lecturer. So, NET examination is best option for you if you desire to become a lecturer. But you are eligible to appear for CTET examination to become teacher. For more information about examination visit at http://www.ugc.ac.in. |

Re: Am I eligible for NET exam after completing B.Com and pursuing MA with same subjects?
Being a Master Degree holder you are eligible to apply for UGC NET entrance exam. However, you are required to score not less than 55% of marks in Master Degree to eligible for UGC. Those who fail to score 55% of marks in Master Degree such candidates are not eligible for NET entrance exam. So, It is fully based on your Master Degree course whether you are eligible or not.

No problem with change of stream or even change of subject for NET exam. The problem arises when you apply for job of lecturer. There many universities asks for candidates with graduation and poat graduation from same subject. Stream doesn't matters.
