Eligibility to appear in CAT for 3 years Diploma holder completed on 12th basis?
Hi,
I have done three years Polytechnic Diploma after my 12th. I want to appear in CAT for MBA course. Kindly let me know that I am eligible or not for appearing in CAT? Waiting for your reply. |

No, you are not eligible to appear for CAT examination. CAT stands for Common Admission Test and it is conducted by IIM for admission of candidates in MBA course.
The eligibility to appear for examination is :- Candidate must have passed graduation from any recognised university. Candidates must have minimum 50% in graduation with relaxation for reserved category. So, you are not eligible to appear for examination as diploma course after 10+2 is not equivalent to graduation degree. So, you have to pursue graduation course to appear for examination. I have completed my Diploma after 10th and completed my B.tech as well am I eligible for CAT..Currently working with and MNC and planning to opt for the Executive MBA?? Am I eligible for the CAT exam.???
