I have done three years Polytechnic Diploma after my 12th. I want to appear in CAT for MBA course. Kindly let me know that I am eligible or not for appearing in CAT? Waiting for your reply.

No, you are not eligible to appear for CAT examination. CAT stands for Common Admission Test and it is conducted by IIM for admission of candidates in MBA course.

The eligibility to appear for examination is :-

Candidate must have passed graduation from any recognised university.

Candidates must have minimum 50% in graduation with relaxation for reserved category.

So, you are not eligible to appear for examination as diploma course after 10+2 is not equivalent to graduation degree. So, you have to pursue graduation course to appear for examination.

No, diploma candidates are not eligible for CAT entrance exam.

CAT stands for Common Admission Test.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized with above 50% marks are eligible for CAT exam. Final year students are eligible for CAT exam.

Pattern for CAT exam:-

1.Data Interpretation.
2.Quantitative Aptitude.
3.Logical Reasoning.
4.Verbal Ability.

Actually I have opted for diploma after 10th and currently I m studying b.tech .... So after completion of my graduation can I appear??? Cat exam???
