M.Phil is also necessary after clearing NET to become a Lecturer?
Hi, i am doing msc. maths right now and wanted to be a lecturer but i have recently come to know that m.phil is also necessary after clearing net for such a job but seats in m.phil are very few(d.u has only 15 seats in total),is any other course i can opt for after msc.maths?reply at [email protected]

You are now doing M.Sc course so you are eligible for UGC NET exam. NET stands for National Eligibility Test. This exam is conducted by UGC. The educational qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET exam. There is no age criteria for NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years. |
