Why we need to apply for a software job after completion of EEE? Will it be good for future career? I don't understand this as most of them do this, but will it be helpful or not? Can I also do the same now or not? Can someone please guide me with the complete information on this?

It is not mandatory to apply for the software job. It is no where written that you have to apply for the software job after completion of your Engineering or EEE. So, it is your own opinion and not the company norms. Taking decision is your own personal choice.

You have a lot many opportunity as well as sector to try your luck, so you are not bounded to do software jobs.

The reasons of applying for software job after completion of engineering degree course in the field of EEE by most of the students are given below.

1. Electronics is still at its infant stage in India.
2. There are limited opportunities in core field where the competition is very high.
3. IT industry offers huge amount of employment opportunities.
4. The pay-scale of IT industry is quite good.

It will definitely be a good decision for future to opt for IT industry provided you have interest in technology and the basic requirement of IT industry which is interest in coding and having analytical and logical bent of mind. Hence, it is highly recommended to go for the jobs in the domain in which you have interest and feel comfortable working and learning more.
