I am getting a job in abroad for that I need a passport, but the passport agent is telling that the NIOS marks card is not acceptable for making passport which includes emigration. Can I get help over here?

NIOS marks card is very much acceptable in India as well as in abroad and you need not to worry about it. NIOS certificate holds equal importance as any other board. You will probably not face any problem in future regarding anything.

For making a passport, you need address proof and identity proof. NIOS mark sheet is your educational qualification and it is not the only proof of identity available for passport application.

You can apply through PAN card and Aadhar card or Driving license for passport. As far as passport is concerned, it has nothing to do with NIOS, but jobs abroad mostly requires you to have regular education.

I have passed 10th from NIOS..
I want to apply for passport but the agent saying that nios marksheet is not acceptable for passport

I have passed 10th from NIOS board.
Please tell me the NIOS marks card is acceptable or not please sir it's emergency

I have submitted copy(s) of my Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Birth Certificate, Ration Card and Copy of Address while applying for passport. I have also submitted my NIOS 10th marksheet with these documents.
(Date of submission : 12.06.2018 & 13.06.2018)
But my application is not getting cleared because "NIOS Marksheet is not permitted to apply for passport".
Am I not eligible to apply for passport because I am student of NIOS 1and having submitted 10th marksheet of NIOS as proof of education.
