My son is in 5th class in this year and I want to join him in merchant navy school after this. Please tell me in detail the procedure for the admission in navy school.

Your son can join Merchant Navy after the completion of class 12th only.

Procedure to join Merchant Navy after class 12th with Science stream:

The candidate should pass class 12th from a recognized Board in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subject.

The candidate's age must be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

The candidate must be an unmarried male.

The candidate should should be a citizen of India.

The candidate should be physically fit as per the requirements.

Yes, you can go for the Navy school after completing your 5th class from any recognized board.

** For your kind information i want to tell you that admission is provided purely on the base of merit of the child

** You simply have to fill up the registration form.

** Preference is first given to students belong to Naval personals.

** A parent teacher meeting is conducted at the last stage which ultimately decides the acceptance or rejection of the student's application.

** Transfer Certificate from the previous school

** Original birth certificate

** Character certificate

** A Medical Fitness certificate
