Eligibility Criteria for seeking admission to the Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering course:

For seeking admission to the Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering course, candidates must have completed their SSLC/class 10 examination from an approved state board of education or central board, matriculation examination, or Anglo-Indian high school examination with good percentage of marks in science subjects. As mentioned earlier, Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering is three-year course and some colleges offer direct admission to the second year of this course. For this, candidates must have completed their higher secondary class 12 examination with chemistry, physics and mathematics subjects or they must have completed their class 12 in vocational stream with any of the subjects like chemistry, physics or mathematics. Lateral entry to second year of Diploma in Electronics & Communication course is offered to students who have completed their SSLC with ITI (NTC) two-year trade.
