How to fill the Common Written Exam for bank recruitment forms?
Common Written Exam for bank recruitment is organized and carries out by the institute of banking personnel selection (IBPS). The main objective of this exam is to select probationary officer and management trainees for different public sector banks. There are 19 banks taking part in this exam. The exam is approved by the Indian Bank Association. Selected candidates will be appointed as management trainee or probationary officer in the nineteen banks, participating in the exam. The applicant for the exam must be an Indian citizen and should not exceed the age of 30. The application fee is for Rs. 450 for general category and Rs. 50 for others.
Instructions to be followed while filling the application form
The candidates should apply for the exam through online, as per the notification. Before applying online the applicant should remit the fee in any of the banks which participate in the exam. For online application the applicant must have a scanned copy of passport size photograph, recently taken and signature of the applicant. For filling the application the candidates must visit the website www.ibps.in. The application form is available in this site. Applicants must upload the photograph and the signature and should also furnish the other required details of the applicant in the form. Make sure that the application form is filled clearly and then click the submit option. The candidates should provide the NEFT number in the payment receipt.
Exemptions to be taken care while filling
There are some exemptions provided by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for applicants.
- There is an age relaxation up to 5 years for applicants from schedule caste and schedule tribe category.
- Applicants form other backward classes will get a relaxation up to 3 years.
- There are also exemptions for applicants with disabilities. The disable applicant has exemption up to 10 years.
- In the case of applicants who are Ex-service man, persons domiciled in Kashmir and persons having 5 year service in RRB are given an age relaxation up to 5 years.
- There is reservation for applicants who are 40 % disabled and such applicants should provide the medical certificate along with the application.
- The fee for the exam is exempted for ST/SC and PWD. The fee for this category is only Rs. 50.
Last date for receipt of application
The last date for applying for the exam is August.
Acknowledgement of exam application form
The call letter after verification of the application form will be send to the applicant in the address provided in the application form.
