How to prepare for Electronic Management Aptitude Test(EMAT)?
The Electronic Management Aptitude Test is an online test carried out every year for selecting candidates for admission in Business management and web Technology courses. This test is held by the Ed-excel Educational Services Private Ltd. EMAT is led by qualified persons in management services. The written test is carried out at various cities across India, at certain Reliance Web World stores. Each candidate must have successfully complete graduation in any stream from a renowned university. Candidates can be from any of the subject stream like commerce, science or even arts. Candidates who have appeared for the final exam can also apply for EMAT.
Structure of the EMAT
The EMAT exam is designed to check the candidate’s knowledge and skills in the related fields. The EMAT exam will have objective type questions. There will be four options for each question. Candidates have to select the correct answer for each question. The EMAT test paper consists of 45 questions. The candidates will be provided with one hour for answering all these questions. This exam will test students in Data interpretation. Along with this, Language Comprehension, Maths, Indian Economy will also be tested. Other than this general intelligence and critical reasoning will also be tested. The EMAT test scores are dispatched to different management institutes all over India.
Syllabus of the EMAT
The DA and DI will get questions from coding and decoding, analogy etc. The language comprehension part will cover up syllabus from synonyms, antonyms, preposition, articles etc. The Mathematical skill will get basic mathematics question, arithmetic operations, percentage and profit and loss. The Intelligence and Reasoning section covers odd man out, analogies and few more subjects. The candidate should prepare time table and allot time for each section. They should read daily newspapers and magazines to know the current affairs. Students preparing for the exam will get many guides and sample question papers in online. They should start their preparation earlier so that they can complete soon and practice mock test. It would be ideal if candidates preparing for the exam rehearsal a lot with sample question papers every week. This will help candidates to get better in the speed as well as they can set right their mistakes. Moreover, this will help to know your preparation level. Time management is very important for exam preparation.
