University profile: Delhi technological university was formerly known as Delhi College of Engineering. It is a big name in the list of engineering colleges with an excellent faculty and training facilities. DTU (DCE) has a good placement record and some of the best infrastructure facilities. Job profile: The lecturers will be given the responsibility to promote and impart quality education in various fields in the rural sector for its development and provide them with a sufficient knowledge to succeed and make a challenging career ahead.

Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 50 years and retired persons below the age of 65 can also apply. However, relaxation can be claimed.

Educational Qualifications: A candidate must at least have a first class Master’s degree with an excellent academic record and a sufficient experience in teaching profession. A candidate having a PhD degree will be given the preference.

No. of posts: There are 41 posts in total which are distributed among various department as applied physics – 04 (2 UR, 1 OBC and 1 ST), IT – 12 (4 UR, 2 T, 3 OBC ad 3 SC), mathematics – 1 OBC, chemical – 10 (2 UR, 1 SC, 2 ST and 5 OBC), applied chemistry – 2 (UR and SC), environmental – 7 (2 UR, 2 OBC and 3 SC) and bio-technology 5 (3 UR, 1SC and 1 OBC).

Pay scale: The lecturers will be given a consolidated pay of Rs18480 per month plus the other usual allowances as per the rules.

Selection process: The candidates have to appear for a walk-in interview. The selection will be on the basis of merit.
