Master of production engineering (M.Prod.E) is a postgraduate degree program which offers a course that is internationally acclaimed to match up the competitive world and the future industrial requirements. The basic objective of this program is that student will gain expertise in stimulation, design, advanced automation, computer-based visualization, and robotics as well as will be able to learn methods and ways to control and mange production. Students will be provided with various ways of managing and operating production engineering and its control management which will enable them to understand modern production technologies and philosophies to formulate and solve operational and strategic problems in design, operation and improvement of manufacturing systems.

Students will gain knowledge about the theory behind the subject and skills in areas related to production and the system along with its design and the ways of improvement and also the ways of management and control of production environment.

Students interested in getting admitted in to the course must complete their BE/Btech degree in particular stream and must have passed an entrance examination that makes the candidates eligible for the course. Apart from that, good and valid GATE scores are essential for admission in reputed institutes in this course.
