National Eligibility Test is conducted by the University Grants Commission and it is for the National award which is only supplied to the candidates who qualifies this test. There are plenty of students are coming every year to get the junior research fellowship scholarship awards.

Qualification required for the exam:

The minimum qualifications and eligibility criteria that one should have to meet for seating in the examination are to secure 55% in the master level degree or its equivalent exam from an authorized institution or university which is registered by University Grants Commission. The ST, SC, Handicapped or physically challenged students need to secure a minimum of 50% marks in the same level of degree that are mentioned above. The final year students are also eligible to sit in the NET examination. Candidates willing to sit in the examination must not cross the age of 28and there is five years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Scores and negative markings:

There are equal marks for all the fifty questions and there are no negative markings for the Museology & Conservation (paper II) papers for any incorrect answer.

The Museology & Conservation (Paper II) Papers is a pen pencil based examination.

Format of the exam:

The Museology & Conservation papers holds objective type’s questions in which candidates need to choose the correct answer amongst the four options.

The National Eligibility Test Museology and Conservation (paper II) Papers hold a total of 50 objective type questions and each question holds 2 marks each.

Markings:

Schedule:

There is fixed time limit for all the candidates to answer all the question is 75 minutes.
