Profile:

Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS) was established by the Government of India. It is an autonomous body which comes under Ministry of Earth Sciences. The one of the major role played by the centre in the national development process is that it is one of the driving force for monsoons and also a potential source of food, energy and drugs. Providing the best possible ocean information and advisory services to the society, industry and government is the prime mission of the centre.

Job profile:

Candidates can apply for the posts of Project Scientist-B in the Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services. The work to be performed by the selected candidates consists of mainly the research work.

Eligibility:

The maximum age limit set for the candidates is 30 years i.e. candidates must not be more than 30 years of age.

Education Qualification:

Candidates required to have done Post Graduation with specialization in the fields like Instrumentation, Computer Science and Engineering, Marine Biology, Spatial Information Technology etc for applying for the above specified post.

No. of posts: 13 posts (Gen-4, OBC-2, SC-1)

Pay Scale: The consolidated amount of Rs. 33500 per month will be provided to the selected candidates.

Selection Process:

The selection proceure setfor the post of Project Scientists in Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services includes both written examination as well as the interview session.
