The University of PTU was established with the vision of improving the condition of technical as well as management based education in the state of Punjab. It was established in January, 1997 and since then it has improved a lot and has produced lots of quality professionals who are successfully working in different fields.

PTU offers Engineering in various disciplines of which Electronics and Communication Engineering is having more demand amongst the students. Students who are pursuing ECE from PTU have to study Antenna and Wave Propagation in their 5th Semester.

Divisions or Sections in the paper:

Section A, B and C are the three sections in the paper, all of them containing different number of questions.

Pattern of the paper

The paper has a simple pattern. There are there these three sections, the first carrying ten questions, each of which is short answer based, and should be completed in about two or three sentences and not more than that. All of these 10 questions are compulsory to attempt. The next section carries a total of five questions, out of which candidates are expected to answer any four. Furthermore, the last section carries a maximum of three long answer questions and candidates have the liberty to answer any two.

Markings

The total mark offered by the paper is sixty, with each of the three section carrying twenty marks. Each of the main questions in the first section carries two marks, each of the main questions in the second section carries five marks and each of the main questions in the third section carries ten marks.

Time allotted for the examination:

The maximum time allotted for the exam is three hours.
