Union Public Service Commission is an government organisation formed on October 1, 1926. The commission aims to serve Indian region only. The commission is a constritutional body located at Shahjahan Road, New Delhi. The first Public Service Commission was set up on October 1, 1926 by the then British Indian Government. The major function of the commission is to conduct written as well as interview examination for making appointment of suitable candidates to the various Civil Service of India. The strength of commission is comprises of a Chairman and nine other members.

Job Profile:

Union Public Service Commission is making recruitment of eligible and qualified Indian citizens for filling up the following non teaching Medical Specialist sub-cadre posts. All the selected candidates will have to serve in the Government of NCT of Delhi. Vacancies are available in the field of ENT, Pathology, Anaesthesia, Gastroenterology, Microbiology and Radio Diagnosis.

1. Recruitment of Specialist Grade-III (ENT):
No. of posts: Only 7 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate degree or Diploma in the concerned discipline with atleast three experience in the relevant field is required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

2. Recruitment of Specialist Grade-III (Pathology):
No. of posts: Only 10 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate degree in the concerned discipline with atleast three experience in the relevant field is required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

3. Recruitment of Specialist Grade-III (Anaesthesia):
No. of posts: Only 66 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate degree or Diploma in the concerned discipline with atleast three experience in the relevant field is required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

4. Recruitment of Specialist Grade-III (Gastroenterology):
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate degree or Diploma in the concerned discipline with atleast three experience in the relevant field is required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

5. Recruitment of Specialist Grade-III (Microbiology):
No. of posts: Only 11 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate degree or Diploma in the concerned discipline with atleast three experience in the relevant field is required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

6. Recruitment of Specialist Grade-III (Radio Diagnosis):
No. of posts: Only 26 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate degree or Diploma in the concerned discipline with atleast three experience in the relevant field is required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

Submission of the prescribed amount of application fee i.e. Rs. 50 is need to done in the shape of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. However, SC/ST/PH/Women candidates are not required to submit this application fee.
