The Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science and Fisheries Paper of the Karnataka Public Service Commission consists of two papers namely Paper- I and Paper- II.  Both Paper I and Paper II are framed in such a manner that they cover important aspects and points of Animal husbandry, Veterinary Science and Fisheries in a wider perspective.

Time allotted:

The time allowed to solve each part of the paper is of three hours.

Marks allotted and total questions:

Both the papers contains maximum of 300 marks, combined together it is of 600 marks. There are total 22 questions in each paper.

Paper pattern:

The question paper is divided in four parts as Part A, Part B, Part C and Part D. Part A of the question paper contains 1 question which is subdivided into four parts carrying 5 marks each with a word limit of 50 words for each question. Part B of the question paper contains a total of 10 questions carrying 10 marks each with a word limit of 100 words. There are 6 questions from Part C containing 15 marks each having a word limit of 150 words while the last part of the paper contains 3 questions carrying 30 marks each with a word limit of 300 words. The question paper is printed in both the English and Kannada language.
