This is one of the streams in which there are umpteen numbers of areas of specializations. The candidates can choose the specialization based on their area of interest. Candidates will be specializing in a special area of science.  It is important that the candidates pursuing this field have a basic aptitude for the same. The admission procedure will help in evaluating the same.

Admission Requirements to join the B.Sc Course

Admission is mostly open to all candidates who have chosen science as a subject during 12th standard. Also each college will have a minimum cut offs. Only candidates who fulfill those criteria’s can apply. Preference is given to those with higher score. Normally no entrance exam is conducted for admission to this course. Entrance exams may be conducted for courses like Biotechnology, Bioinformatics etc.

Application form for the B.Sc Course

Candidates will need to purchase the forms from the college office. These will be available generally in the month of June and July. They will first need to make a payment for application form and prospectus. Read the instructions carefully and then fill the form. Make sure to keep the copy or else at least note the application form number.

Documents required for admission to the B.Sc Course

The documents required to submitted along with the application form are

  • Education qualification (Attested Xerox copy) - It should include both the 10th std and 12th standard mark sheet for verification
  • School Leaving Certificate (Attested Xerox copy) – It will be treated as a proof for age of the candidate
  • Extra-curriculum Certificates (Attested Xerox copy)
  • Domicile Certificate (Attested Xerox Copy)
  • Candidates with Certificate of Caste i.e. SC/ST can apply. Even those from OBC category can apply.
  • Physical Disability certificate should be authorized by the Medical Officer

Cancellation of Admission

Students have the option to withdraw from the course. They need to provide an application for the same. This is true from the college side too. They can cancel admission if they have proof against the students. Like if there was any misconduct on behalf of the student or the documents provided where not valid etc.

    can i get admission in bsc it or engineering degree if i appear for 12th privately? will i be eligible to appear for entrance examinations like mht-cet and aieee? will private 12th marksheet affect my job and carrer? Please help me and provide some good suggestions
